Drivers need to be aware of bus stops especially like this one where there is not infrastructure for a pedestrian to cross safely and watch for people wanting to cross and stop for them. This is the only safe option for this person. Many cannot run across a busy street when there is a gap between fast moving cars and no one should have to.
