The above picture shows a person walking along a shared-use path. A gas powered scooter zips by. Is it legal to operate these on a shared-use path?

The Answer: NO

It is ILLEGAL to operate a gas powered or motorized scooter along a shared use path in Idaho. If it was not originally manufactured for street use it is considered a toy and may only be operated on private property.
