The Question:

The above picture shows a pedestrian attempting to cross the street mid-block. Are motorists still required to give you the right-of-way regardless of where you cross the street?

The Answer: NO

A pedestrian only has the right-of-way within a crosswalk (marked or unmarked).

This answer is based onĀ Idaho state code 49-704 (1).
